Enduro race to end the season at Pamporovo Bike Park!

During the weekend of 13-14 September Velo Park Pamporovo will be the host of an interesting Enduro mountain bike race!
Enduro is a relatively new discipline in the world of mountain bike races which during the last 2-3 years has become a global hype.The races include several special stages – resembling the rally format, during which the riders are faced with high levels of physical stress and their technical riding abilities are tested to the max.
Elevation 999 will be held on September 13-14th and will include a total of six special stages – three of them will be on the trails of Velo Park Pamporovo and the other three in direction of the town of Smolyan. The last sixth stage will be very attractive and will include riding through the town with various obstacles finishing right in the city center.
The participants in the race will have several hours to compete during the day and cover a distance of more than 20 km, exhausting riding through a combination of various bike park trails, technical singetracks and natural trails with a total descending elevation of 2057 m
Elevation 999 will be the first Enduro race in Pamporovo and the region and the organizers announce that it is already planned to happen next year too, as well as they have applied at the International cycling Union ( UCI) to include the race in their calendar and it will give riders points for the world rank list.
The competition will be held in two days; Saturday being the day for training and the seeding run at the end of the day and Sunday will be the race. The race starting list will be determined after the seeding run on Saturday, and the riders with the fastest times will start first in their category.
